The ChatGPT plugin allows users to connect with the Solana network and gain more control over their data associated with their accounts. The plugin enables ChatGPT to retrieve information from internet sources and communicate with websites that are not affiliated with ChatGPT to respond to user instructions. This functionality, now available to all users, allows ChatGPT to check wallet balances, transfer Solana-native tokens, and acquire nonfungible tokens (NFTs) when OpenAI makes the plugins accessible.

Developers are also invited to try retrieving on-chain data of interest using Solana Labs' open-source code, showcasing the company's commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration within the developer community.

Solana Labs has demonstrated how ChatGPT can receive a list of NFTs held by a specific Solana address, including associated metadata links to the NFTs. However, the company has not specified whether it plans to activate the plugin when OpenAI makes it available to everyone.

Users now have the option to "turn off" their conversation history, addressing concerns about user privacy.
